CIRCLE WM LAND
& LIVESTOCK LLC
A working homestead in southeast Georgia.
Circle WM Land & Livestock is a small-acreage land-based operation focused on practical stewardship, livestock management, and creative documentation. The work here is shaped by heat, humidity, insects, and the realities of managing land in the coastal plain—often through trial, error, and revision.
This site documents what has been tested, what has failed, and what continues to evolve.
The land is used. Sometimes efficiently, sometimes imperfectly. Adjustments are made as conditions change and lessons accumulate.
Horses live here in a climate that tests them. Chickens contribute where they can. A garden and an indoor mushroom greenhouse exist as ongoing experiments. Wildlife moves through the property on its own schedule.
There is no idealized version of this place—only a working one.
What This Site Covers
You’ll find documentation related to:
Small-acreage land and pasture management
Living with horses in extreme heat and humidity
Garden and mushroom growing, and plant trials suited to southeast Georgia
Native plants, soil realities, and long-term land improvement
Wildlife interactions and habitat considerations
Creative work rooted in place, including photography and written field notes
Nothing here is presented as universal guidance. We aren’t experts, but if our trials and (many) errors can help others, we’re happy to oblige.
Alongside land management, Circle WM Land & Livestock produces creative work rooted in place. Photography, fine art, and written observations are used to document livestock, landscape, seasonal change, and process—without polishing away the realities that make the work interesting.
