Locally Grown Gourmet

Mushrooms in South Georgia

Fresh, Flavorful, and Farm Grown at Circle WM Land & Livestock

At Circle WM Land & Livestock, we grow fresh gourmet mushrooms on our small farm in Register, Georgia. Our focus is on producing high-quality oyster mushrooms through a combination of carefully managed indoor cultivation and experimental outdoor growing methods.

Indoor Grown Gourmet Mushrooms

Our indoor mushroom operation allows us to grow fresh oyster mushrooms in a controlled environment, where we carefully monitor humidity, temperature, airflow, and growing conditions.

Using nutrient-rich growing substrates, we cultivate varieties such as blue, white, Italian oyster mushrooms, and lion’s mane mushrooms, known for their rich umami flavor, meaty texture, and versatility in the kitchen.

Indoor cultivation allows us to provide more consistent harvests throughout the year, regardless of South Georgia's unpredictable weather.

Exploring Outdoor Mushroom Cultivation

Beyond our indoor operation, we're experimenting with more natural, low-tech growing methods outdoors.

From cultivating oyster mushrooms in pasteurized straw towers to exploring ways to repurpose spent mushroom substrate, we're always looking for practical, sustainable approaches to mushroom farming.

South Georgia's heat, humidity, and changing seasons present unique challenges, but they're also opportunities to learn, experiment, and discover what works best in our local environment.

Fresh From Our Farm to Your Table

Whether grown indoors or outdoors, our goal is simple: provide fresh, locally grown gourmet mushrooms while continually learning and improving our growing practices.

You can find our mushrooms at the Statesboro Mainstreet Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and Mooma’s Farm Store at Hunter Cattle Co. Availability and varieties change with our harvests, so follow Circle WM Land & Livestock for updates on what's growing!
